CSP coordinates all aspects of the surrogacy journey to prepare for a successful and rewarding experience. This chart is to help understanding of where each portion of money will be spent for your surrogacy journey. Each journey is different and CSP strives for transparency in all stages. While all of these sections are not paid to CSP, we will help manage your funds and direct them to the appropriate places at the correct time to avoid any unnecessary delays or additional costs. Your CSP team are all here to help guide and encourage a happy journey with a healthy outcome. Any additional funds in your account after delivery will be returned to you.

This fee covers the compensation for the gestational carrier. The compensation is based on the gestational carrier’s location, insurance, and some other variables; however, a first time gestational carrier will have a base fee of $50,000. Each gestational carrier will have a cost sheet. Upon a presentation of a potential match, the gestational carrier’s cost sheet that includes a breakdown of her specific fees will be reviewed with the Intended Parents. CSP stays in line with industry standards of gestational carrier compensation to ensure great quality candidates.
The professional fee covers the agency fee and escrow management monthly fee. CSP is here for your journey until the end. CSP is a full service agency that will assist you in every area of this process, whether that is legal, medical, psychological, logistical, or any circumstance you may encounter.
This expense covers a large list of things that vary per gestational carrier. This list can include things like: monthly allowance, lost wages, travel, life insurance, insurance premium if applicable, gestational carrier attorney fee, screening costs, and outside monitoring fees if applicable. CSP will estimate and value each expense prior to matching so you know what your actual costs are before committing to a match.
This will cover the GC’s expenses throughout her journey with you. All of her copays for doctor appointments, maximum out of pocket costs based on each GC’s insurance and any deductibles that need to be met. These costs vary per GC and their policy. CSP will ensure every bill is processed properly through insurance and paid in accordance to your contract.
CSP contracts with Counseling Associates to have a counselor on every case. The counselor fees cover matching, screening and education and a monthly counseling fee. This counselor helps throughout the journey to ensure the gestational carrier is psychologically screened and every party is being heard.
IVF Cycle Costs are paid directly to your fertility clinic of choice. If you come to CSP prior to finding a fertility clinic, we will help direct you to clinics we have standing history with. These fees cover a large amount of the costs outside of what is paid to CSP. This will cover, among other fees, consultations, ultrasounds, fertility medications, and monitoring visits and more. Each clinic and each cycle will be different and the price of this fee will vary.
Should the Intended Parent need egg donations, CSP can help partner you with an Egg Donation agency. These fees will vary per agency. The Egg Donation Agency will help match you with an egg donor who meets your needs.
This fee will be paid directly to your attorney of choice. CSP has long-standing relationships with many attorneys and can help refer you to an attorney suitable for your journey. These legal fees cover the contracts, including the necessary pre-birth orders that are created for your journey.
Program initiation allowing Intended Parents enrollment in the CSP surrogacy program. CSP provides guidance and expertise on profile generation and establishment of required surrogacy relationships (Mental Health, Legal, Insurance Review, Doctor etc). CSP coordinates all aspects of the surrogacy journey to prepare for a successful and rewarding experience.
CSP surrogate recruitment efforts, surrogate education, surrogate program enrollment, and CSP matching. Establishment of surrogate cost sheet, and overall guidance to ensure the Gestational Carrier Agreement is timely executed.
TBD based upon the individual surrogate cost sheet. The costs associated with background checks, medical review, blood work, medical procedures and psychological counseling for your surrogate and partner prior to TMA signing. The screening cost is only paid if the surrogate is medically cleared by the fertility clinic.*
Medical coordination for all post-match screening, travel coordination, and medical necessities in preparation for an embryo transfer.
$1,500 per transfer not to exceed 2 additional transfers per Gestational Carrier.
Applicable when an embryo transfer has occurred and a new surrogate is required. The screening fee is waived.
Requires 2 or more embryos transferred, if 1 embryo transferred, no multiple fee applies to CSP. Gestational Carrier Agreement maintains as outlined for multiples births compensation.
